BLACK MIRROR
Today I
would like to talk about a chapter of ther thriller serie, Black Mirror,
called “Caída en picado”. This short film focuses on a society governed
by the stars you obtain from people, according to your behaviour. It tells
the story of Lacie Pound’s life, a women obsessed with her popularity.
Everything
stars when she wants to lead a more glamourous life. She found the way to
improve her mark but a whole series of facts took her mark down. During these events, they will show us some characters
that will have a notable influence on Lacie. One of them will be Susan, a woman
who helps Lacie when she is having a bad time. Although Susan has a rating of
1.4 stars out of 5, which is very poor, she helps Lacie a lot.
In conclusion,
I recommend this chapter because I found the film very thrilling and it makes
you think on the future and the society we are becoming. This film holds the
spectator’s attention until the end.
